Why We Only Do Charging

Highlands Ranch EV Charger Installation came out of a pattern that got impossible to ignore. Working general electrical across Douglas County, the charging calls kept arriving with the same three problems attached: a quote that was really a range, a permit nobody had pulled, and a load calculation nobody had run. The jobs were being treated as an afterthought by people who did them occasionally. So we stopped doing everything and started doing this.

Specializing changed what a site visit looks like. Highlands Ranch was developed in recognizable phases, and after enough garages you learn where the builder put the load center, how far it sits from the parking bay, and which subdivisions hide a service that will not take another continuous load without help. That knowledge is why our estimates tend to hold and why we can often tell a homeowner what they are facing over the phone. It also means we are not learning your panel on your time.

We would rather turn down a job than install something we know will cause trouble later. The margin for casual work is genuinely small, and we do not think a homeowner should have to know that in order to be protected from it.

You get an itemized figure covering equipment, wire, breaker, labor and the permit before we begin. It changes only if you ask us to change the scope, and then only after a conversation.

Douglas County permits handled here

Highlands Ranch is unincorporated, so the permit runs through the county Building Division. We file it, schedule the inspection and have an electrician present for it. You do nothing.

Colorado-licensed and insured

Every installer is licensed in Colorado and working under a registered Colorado electrical contractor, with general liability and workers' compensation coverage in place on every job.

EVITP and manufacturer certified

Our installers hold EVITP certification and we are Tesla-certified, with working experience across ChargePoint, Wallbox, Enphase, Emporia and Grizzl-E equipment.

We know the Colorado conditions

Outdoor units on the Front Range deal with winter cold, summer sun and wide daily temperature swings. Placement, weather-rated fittings and sealed penetrations are treated as part of the job, not an upgrade.

Written workmanship warranty

Our labor is warranted in writing and your manufacturer warranty gets registered at commissioning. If a connection we made fails, we come back and make it right.
